Canadiens confirm contract for one of Rocket’s top scorers last year

The Montreal Canadiens have just announced that forward Mitchell Stephens, who spent the last year with the Laval Rocket, is back with the organization.

He has signed a one-year, two-part contract with the Canadiens.

Last year, the forward scored 41 points in 68 games in Laval, his first season in Quebec. The Ontarian was the Rocket’s third-highest scorer in the regular season.
